…..read on to see what the title is about!
I am overwhelmed at the reaction to my third collection, A Light Goes On, available now, exclusively on Amazon. This is the culmination of a trilogy that has taken me from the depths of despair to a crack in an Unreconciled Door, where some light has now become visible.
Thanks to all of you for reading and listening along to my first two collections and I really hope you enjoy A Light Goes On, which book ends that period of my writing and of my life.
“Sense” is at the third poem from the third collection and the subject of this week’s Behind the Lines.
“Sense” came about as an exercise to use the senses in a poem, so -see, hear, feel, taste are all in there.
Also are myths, fables and legends.
Icarus, The boy who cried wolf and Atlas with the world on his shoulders (maybe shrugging ,maybe not) are the characters.
I would love to say more but “Joy” as with the poem!, interrupted this blog post.
Our son, Ezra, was born yesterday.
He is as how he was named, “God or Yahweh helps” after the Old Testament scribe who helped rebuild Jerusalem.
He has a superhero for a Mummy and the proudest Dad in history, thanks to the angels who take the human form of all the staff who helped bring him into the world in the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.
May the Book of Ezra be Joy itself.
Hierosólyma,
Here is all you want!.
